Limiting AgeLine Search by Year(s)

The system defaults to retrieving items from the full time range of AgeLine coverage, displaying the records chronologically by year, with the most recently published items first. AgeLine records describe documents published from 1978 to the present, with selected coverage of literature published earlier.

Under certain circumstances, limiting by year can make your search process more efficient by reducing the number of records retrieved in your search and thus reducing the number of records you have to review to find what you are looking for. Limiting by year is helpful when you know precisely or approximately the publication year of the material you are looking for or you are looking only for current material or for material from a specific time period.
