What Are AgeLine Accession, Record
and AARP Call Numbers?
Each record within AgeLine has a unique record number and a unique accession number. These numbers are primarily for internal purposes.
Accession numbers may be used in abstracts to reference other AgeLine records. Users may search on accession numbers by entering them in the AgeLine Basic or Advanced Search boxes or in the Any Word box on the Multiple Options Search page.
Each AgeLine item categorized as a book is also assigned an AARP call number that does not necessarily correspond to the Library of Congress call number. This field is not searchable on this web site.
